Working alongside schools to create spaces where staff feel equipped and students feel safe, connected and able to thrive
Through trauma-informed and positive psychology training, Insights Discovery and practical leadership development, we equip students, staff teams and education leaders with tools they can use every day.
Learning becomes possible when people feel safe, connected and understood
Trauma-informed practice does not mean diagnosing trauma or removing appropriate expectations. It provides a more informed lens—helping staff remain curious, respond consistently and combine clear boundaries with compassionate support.
When we look beyond the behaviour, we can respond to the person more effectively.

Practical learning shaped around the realities of education
The invisible backpack
The invisible backpack
Select an experience to explore how it might influence learning, behaviour and relationships.
The backpack is a reflective metaphor. We cannot know what a student has experienced simply by observing their behaviour.
Change and instability
Repeated change can make routine, predictability and trusting relationships especially important.
Anxiety around changes, repeated questions, difficulty moving between activities or distress when familiar routines alter.
Make routines visible, explain changes early and provide one clear and manageable next step.
Behaviour alone cannot tell us what a student has experienced. Trauma-informed practice does not replace appropriate boundaries, accountability or established safeguarding procedures.

Stronger staff relationships support stronger learning environments
Insights Discovery is a memorable, accessible self-awareness framework based on the psychology of Carl Jung. It uses four colour energies to help people understand their preferences and recognise the strengths that others contribute.
Every person has a unique combination of all four colour energies. The purpose is not to label people, but to create greater awareness, flexibility and choice.
Lead with clarity. Challenge with care
The Liberator gives headteachers, senior leaders, middle leaders and managers a practical framework for leading people with both clarity and compassion.
It helps leaders understand their impact, approach difficult conversations constructively and create an environment in which people know what is expected and feel supported to succeed.
